Barrel sauna – features

Wood type: barrel sauna, thermowood; Roof liding: bitumen shingles; Dimensions: ø 215 cm outside diameter / length: 4 m; Wall thickness, side walls: 40–42 mm, Wall thickness: Front, back and partition walls: approx. 28 mm

Compared with untreated wood, this wood type exhibits certain advantages in terms of dimensional stability, toughness, rot protection, and reduced cracking. Thermally modified wood is the end product from processing solid wood, which is made especially durable through steam, heat and drying treatment.

For the thermowood edition, screens and door are also delivered in spruce and are painted in thermowood colour.
