Barrel sauna – features

Wood type: barrel sauna, thermowood; Stove type: electric, 8 or 9 kW (depending on availability) / 400v / max. 110°C; Roof liding: bitumen shingles; Dimensions: ø 215 cm outside diameter / length: 3.5 m; Wall thickness, side walls: 40–42 mm, Front, back and partition walls: approx. 28 mm

• 3 stainless-steel clamping rings to adjust and re-tighten the block planks; sturdy substructure for safe standing; wooden door with window made of tempered safety glass; wide, high-quality benches and flooring

Compared with untreated wood, this wood type exhibits certain advantages in terms of dimensional stability, toughness, rot protection, and reduced cracking. Thermally modified wood is the end product from processing solid wood, which is made especially durable through steam, heat and drying treatment.

For the thermowood edition, pedestals, screens, door and outside benches are also delivered in spruce and are painted in thermowood colour. Matching paint is delivered with the self-assembly edition.

The electric stove requires high-voltage current and must be connected by a qualified electrician. Please note that delivery is kerbside only. Delivery with a crane is not possible; this must be arranged by the customer.
